Until then, her face was smiling like a full moon. On hearing the message conveyed in the phone, she got upset, and her face turned to the lunar moon. Big sad covered her face. with tension, she said over the phone

"Oh My God. I'm leaving now to come there. Please take care of him. I need him. Please please." she said hurriedly.

Then she closed her phone before Nandan could ask

"Nandan. Dad got a heart attack. He got admitted to the hospital. Our neighbour uncle just called. Mom is crying. I have to go immediately to Chennai. Please do something. "she said nervously.

The one who understood what had happened to some extent before from her face

"Sure. Rathi. Flight to Chennai is frequent. You will be there in another 3 hours. I immediately ask to book a ticket for both of us."

"No Nandan. I will go alone. You attend the conference and then come to Chennai."

"No Ma. This conference is not important to me. You are important to me. I can not send you alone. I will collect the bond myself."

"Hey. Nandan. What is this?  Am I little child??. I came alone when I came from Chennai. I will still go alone.

Uncle told me that my father had gone for treatment to have no problem.

And you are going to receive the best Businessman Award today evening. You have to get it without fail. Don't even come to me just skipping that. ”

"I don't care about that award more than you," he said stubbornly.

"Hmm, it makes me proud. It makes me proud to see that my sweet husband is getting the award in front of the big people.  Don't be stubborn Nandan darling.

I'm going alone. You just arrange a ticket only for me. Please. This is my humble request. You stay and attend the conference at least for me. "She requested him and began to pack her belongings in a hurry.

He came back to say something, but she scolded him and then booked the ticket on the flight to her only.

To be ready for the Deeksha, even in that critical situation, she took his T-shirt that he was wearing when he married her for her remembrance and came out. Nandan was arranging the taxi in the meantime.

The woman who was sitting in the cab, the cab started to move. The fear that was not known till now surrounded her now considering her father's position. Her eyes began to shake, and suddenly her body started shaking.

Abhi took her palm, held it in his hand and comforted her as he hugged her.

Since the taxi driver is Tamil, he saw them speaking Tamil and her cry, he turned back and inquired

"What happened, sir." he inquired.

Abhi told that her father was not feeling well. The driver also comforted her and drove the cab fast towards Airport.

To get off the flight in 30 minutes after arriving at the airport, the person who landed in a hurry gave 2000 rupees. The taxi driver told there was no change.

Abhi told the driver to keep the rest of the money and took her belongings,  pulled her and ran inside the airport.

Refusing to send Deeksha inside saying that the check-in was closed, Abhi immediately grabbed the airline MD and asked for help. The next moment the employee stood up and did what he had to do.

Deeksha who checked in her luggage was about to go inside the airport. Suddenly Abhi hugged her tightly again and told her not to worry everything would be alright and told her to call him as soon as she reached Chennai.

She too answered with tears in her eyes and went inside.

The man who had been looking in the same direction she had gone,  for a long time then left the airport with a heart full of sorrow.

Abhi went to the conference. Since Abhi and Deeksha did not come there, Anand and his friends went out to look around the areas outside in Delhi.

Abhi wandered outside of the conference hall without going to the conference room.

Even though his body was there, the mind was all around Deeksha. And he had called her many times so far.

He was talking to her on the phone until the flight departed. After that, she went to land without a signal and waited to call her.

He was looking at his cell phone for every second and waiting for her call.

Deeksha also called him as soon as she landed at Chennai Airport. The next second, Abhi picked up the phone and inquired

“Are you okay baby ?? "Said with suffering.

She had managed herself to some extent by then

"Hey. Nandan. I'm fine. Why are you so tensed? I will manage it. Don't worry. I’m alright. Don’t treat me as a kid.? " she said laughing by hiding her sorrow inside

Only then he was at peace.

"Okay baby. I arranged the cab which is waiting for you outside. Get into that and go to the hospital. Once you reached the hospital,  call me right away." he said even more nervously.

“Sure, Nandan. You don't have to worry. Ask Anand to telecast the function live when you get the award at the evening Award function today. I want to see you when you get an award.

Send photos. I love you, Nandan. Miss you. "she said and took her luggage from the package claim and came out fast.

He too told

"Miss you, baby. Love you. Take care of you and uncle."

After that, he got busy with the conference with some relief.

Then Deeksha got into the cab waiting outside and came to the hospital which the uncle told. She got out of the taxi and went inside the hospital. The uncle was waiting for her outside.

When she saw him, he was dizzy. She went closer to him and thinking that something was wrong

“What happened uncle ?? How is Dad now ??” inquired with a trembling heart.

"Your dad has left us all Deeksha. We couldn’t save him no matter how hard we tried," he said sadly.

When she heard that, the mobile phone in her hand slipped and fell down and scattered.

"Dad," she shouted right there.

After that, everything happened faster. They brought her father's body home after all the formalities over in the hospital.

There were no relatives came to help them because her parents were both got love marriage against their families. So there was no one to tell the information.

Only close friends and acquaintances in the apartment were present.

Being the only girl, she had to do her father's last things.

Without even having time to sit down and cry, she also mechanically ran to do the rituals.

How her father raised her.?

Even though she was a woman, she could bear the loss to some extent because she was brought up with the courage and honesty to face any problem as equal to a man.

She buried the body and stood in front of him and performed the funeral rites. Then she and her mother were alone in the house until all those who had come there had to disperse.

Deeksha was staring at something at night. Suddenly she remembered Nandan and looked at the time.

“Oh My God. Nandan. How could I forget him ??.

He was looking for me. He was waiting for my phone. ”she remembered and got up and went to search her cell phone, but it was not there.

She remembered her cell phone falling down in the hospital. But she ran to see her father without even appearing to pick it up; she remembered that.

“Now, how do I call him ?”  She thought.

Meanwhile, her mother sitting in the hall, suddenly fainted as she could not accept her husband’s sudden diminish. Deeksha ran away and carried her to the hospital immediately.

Parimalam could not get out of the grief of her husband's separation. She collapsed in a daze.

It took two days for her to wake up and see her better. Until then, Deeksha watched and took her closely.

There will be the misery of not being able to tell him. But she wondered how she could leave her mother in this situation and in fact she didn’t have his contact number though. She was clueless about how to reach Nandan.
